The caravan park is right in the beach in the Hat Head National Park, but not part of the National Park.

Set on the beach and the Korogoro Creek this is our favourite beach side park.

Only 30 minutes from Kempsey or an easy one-hour drive from Port Macquarie.

The beach is perfect for swimming or surfing when the swell is on and the kids will love the creek for playing or just sitting round cooling off.

Go for a walk up the beach or if you are like us take full advantage of the long beach, air down and take the rig for a run.

The 4WD beach access is at the north end of the main street.

A double concrete boat ramp at the creek end of the park to launch the boat for a days fishing and big cleaning tables to  prepare your catch for dinner.

Yes, fires are permitted (not in peak season). Must be off the ground in a drum and check with reception as to fire bans. Bring your own firewood.

There is a huge covered BBQ area which is for park and public use with electric BBQ's. Don't forget to clean up after you've finished.

Bookings on the website or by calling reception.

Hat Head is a very popular spot and it's recommend that you book ahead if you want your favourite site. During peak times it's even busier and most people book their sites 12 months ahead.

Hat Head is a small village with supplies at the park office and the shop a short walk up the road. The bowling club is next to the park and provides dinning in and takeout food.
